I feel that I must let you know what a wonderful success Ingrid's 21st cake was in Paris last weekend. It travelled without mishap and the restaurant we had dinner at were full of compliments not just about the design, but the actual cake itself - who had made it ? - where does she live ? - and then realised that North Wales to Paris was a bit too far to go for a cake !

Any rate we know it was up to your usual standard as the girls in Ingrid's flat finished it off within the week !

I'd like to thank you for the most lovely cake. It looked stunning and was admired by everyone. The whole thing was eaten bar the top. Everyone had two or three slices - they said it was the best they had ever eaten. The caterers had never seen cake eaten in such quantities - a great compliment to the baker ! Thank you so much.
