Freshly Made to a Family Recipe

We offer you a cake made freshly to order to a tried and tested family recipe using only freshly purchased ingredients. We don't buy in bulk and stockpile. Whether your preference is fruit, carrot, sponge, or a combination, we can oblige.

Individually Designed

On show at your wedding reception, a cake individually designed for you by 'Cakes By Design' can reflect your taste and choice of colour and style. We specialise in hand made sugar flowers which can be made to match or co-ordinate with your bridal bouquet or bridesmaids' dresses.

If you have something specific in mind we can work from sketches, photographs or ideas in your head. Each cake is made and decorated with the same care and attention given to my own family's cakes. Hand made sugar models and flowers can usually be removed to become a treasured keepsake. If you would like to make your own fruit cake, we are happy to offer a quotation to almond paste and decorate.
